Pediatric Hospitalist Connecticut Children’s Medical Center The Division of Hospital Medicine at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CT Children’s) has a full-time academic pediatric hospitalist position available, involving clinical service with our resident teams, teaching attending duties, and protected time to pursue academic interests. Though primarily a day role, the position also includes some evening shift coverage and periodic coverage of our St. Mary’s satellite unit in Waterbury, Connecticut. Successful candidates will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical and teaching abilities, and a commitment to personal and academic development. While Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship graduates or experienced hospitalists are preferred, graduating residents are also encouraged to apply.
The Division is composed of a vibrant group of 14 hospitalists and 6 advanced practitioners with diverse backgrounds and experience, based at our 187-bed free standing children’s hospital in Hartford. In addition, we continue to expand our reach to all communities in Connecticut with growing programs at regional sites throughout the state. Members of the Division are leaders in Medical Education, Quality Improvement, and Hospital Administration.
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is a tertiary care teaching hospital which serves as the primary pediatric teaching site for the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
