We are an established Orthodontic practice with a young history of providing pediatric dental care. As a growing pediatric practice, we are offering to start, a part time position of 7-10 days per month total, in two locations. You will work with dedicated assistants on clinical days. We have a robust marketing strategy for you to meet and solidify referral sources and introduce you to the communities as an expert in the field while continuing to grow and develop the practice, ultimately gaining a full time schedule. Provides dental care for infants, children, and adolescents
Treats primary and secondary teeth for all restorative needs including but not limited to: fillings, root canals, Maryland Bridges, SSC crowns, conventional bridges and obturating appliances suitable for growing arches.
Manages patients with behavioral problems or handicapping conditions.
Counsels and advises patients and family on growth and development dental problems of patient.
Provides preventive services through use of fluorides and sealants and instructs patient and family members on dental care.
Fabricates space maintainers designed for patients.
Advises and instructs patients regarding preventative dental care, the causes and treatment of dental problems, and oral health care services
Analyzes and evaluates dental needs to determine changes and trends in patterns of dental disease
Administers anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patients during procedures
Diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures, and provide preventive and corrective services
Examines teeth, gums, and related tissues, using dental instruments, x-rays, and other diagnostic equipment, to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and plan appropriate treatments
Conducts morning meetings with the dental office staff to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the day’s schedule, procedures and patient load
Possesses a strong work ethic, outgoing personality, good communication skills, manual dexterity and a outstanding personable chair-side manner.
Is capable and licensed to perform hospital based dentistry for patients unable to have procedures completed in an in-office setting
Has a minimum of 2 year's experience, although we welcome applicants with less or no experience as well
Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
Graduated from accredited pediatric dental program
Can legally practice dentistry in the United States
