The Casual/Per Diem Athletic Trainer (AT) provides treatment to individuals who have, or seek to avoid, musculoskeletal injuries during participation or training for athletics or physical activity.
Administers and performs appropriate techniques and method for Pre/Post rehabilitation programs and in the prevention of injuries; providing appropriate supervision of clients enrolled in these programs.
Demonstrates knowledge and use of protective bracing/splinting, safety equipment, education of students, coaches and parents, and coordinates care with medical/clinical staff.
Maintains core competencies and any additional competencies determined to be necessary by the management team to ensure patient care needs are met.
This AT will provide as needed game coverage at the Wilmington, DE Fieldhouse.
Must have BOC ATC Certification and be eligible for Delaware State Athletic Training License and must be eligible for DE licensure
