Work Hours/Shift:

PRN Night Shift 

You Will Be Responsible For: 

• Provide nursing care/skills to medical/surgical and pediatric patients
• Assess patients and respond to changes in patients' condition
• Provide oversight to Inpatient Unit specific staff related to patient care assignments
• Manage emergency patient situations such as codes
• Demonstrate knowledge of local, state and federal regulations governing APRN & RN practice

What You Will Need:

• Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky
• KY APRN license
• CPR certification
• ACLS & PALS Certification within 6 months of hire
• MSN degree required
• Minimum 2 years clinical competence as an RN required

Job Summary: 

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting. Communicates with physician’s / team leaders/ coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
