Our abdominal transplant/surgical oncology unit is a 24-bed unit caring for abdominal transplant (e.g. kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants), as well as surgical oncology patients. You will be involved in providing care that improves patient outcomes and experience. This is a fast-paced unit, that has recently expanded from 14 to 24 beds. We are looking for energetic, dependable team members who are looking to make a difference in our patient's lives. Full-time: 3/12 Hour Shifts | Night Shift: 7:00PM-7:30AM Must be available to work Holidays/Weekends You will also have the opportunity utilize our self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Interacts with other health care providers in numerous settings in order to report and ask for or clarify information. Also works with clergy to provide spiritual support. Synthesizes and prioritizes data from multiple sources to provide support for the human response of the patient and family to changes in health status.
