We are seeking an experienced behavioral health tech who has worked for a minimum of one year with individuals with mental health or behavioral disabilities.
This is a Part-Time Day Weekender position that works with both adolescents and adults and will be scheduled Every Saturday & Sunday from 6:45am - 7:15pm.
*Applicants with at least one year of inpatient hospital experience will be given priority.*
Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities.
Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
Responsibilities
Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens.
Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Required: Minimum of one year experience working on an inpatient psychiatric unit or related mental health setting.
Certifications
Required: American Heart Association issued BLS. CPI to be obtained during hospital Orientation.
