General Pediatrician Asian Clinic – Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA

The Department of Pediatrics at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified General Pediatrician to join the Pediatric and Adolescent Asian Clinic . This is an academic position that includes clinical and teaching responsibilities.

The Pediatric and Adolescent Asian Clinic has been working with the local Asian community for decades to provide culturally sensitive pediatric care. We take into consideration traditional therapies when treating our patients, and we serve both Boston’s Chinatown and the Asian community throughout greater Boston. The clinic is based in downtown Boston.

At our Pediatric and Adolescent Asian Clinic, we offer patients and their family a friendly environment, with bilingual staff and an after hours emergency on-call line answered by Chinese speaking providers.  

The candidate should be comfortable managing the care of medically and socially complex pediatric and adolescent patients and providing care for all general pediatric needs. All Division faculty members are involved in the teaching of pediatric residents and medical students.

How you’ll transform patient care:

• The candidate should be comfortable managing the care of a diverse pediatric and adolescent patient population and providing care for all general pediatric needs.
• All Division faculty members are involved in the teaching and training of residents and medical students.

Who you are:

• Board certified in General Pediatrics.
• Must have evidence and interest in being in an academic setting.
• Must have a strong record of collaboration and be able to actively engage and work towards a shared vision for the Division.
• Have an interest in population health, quality, complex care, integrated behavioral health and/or community and school collaboration.
• Ability to speak a second language such as Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable.
