BASIC PURPOSE

The CRPC Outreach SpecialistA is an experienced staff member who has an enhanced role within the Emergency Services Line to assistA with outreach activities that are part of the statewide EMS-C Project within the East Tennessee Region.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or accredited paramedic program.

Minimum Work Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Pediatric Critical Care, ED, or Prehospital Care (preferred) .

Required Licenses/Certifications for position

• Certification in area of expertise - CCRN, CPEN, CCEMT-P (preferred )
• PALS Instructor Status

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to relate with a variety of stakeholders.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
