Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Division of Allergy, Immunology and Pulmonary Medicine at Vanderbilt supports a robust and growing research program focused on clinical research to help understand and improve the care of children with asthma. Clinical and translational research efforts are directed at the pathogenesis of asthma in early life and approaches to asthma management throughout childhood, including multi-center federally funded clinical trials in asthma.

This protocol will require extensive recruiting activities, which are labor intensive and time consuming, as well as scheduling all study visits throughout the protocol. The Research Assistant II will work under the guidance and supervision of the nurse coordinator to organize and implement recruitment activities, communicate with study subjects to schedule study visits, organize and maintain the regulatory binder, and perform electronic entry of data for this project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Organize and implements recruitment activities for potential participants

  1. Manages regulatory documents

Specific examples: He/she will organize and maintain the regulatory documents in the appropriate binders.

  1. Data Entry of Subject information

Specific examples: The RA II will perform electronic data entry for this project.

Bachelors Diploma (or equivalent experience) and 2 years relevant experience

  • Neuroendocrine cell hyperplasia of infancy (NEHI)
