Golisano Childrens Hospital of Southwest Florida (Lee Health) is seeking a Pediatric General Surgeon!

Located near the beaches of Southwest Florida is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 134 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services to take care of all of our communitys children from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has plans to expand to be a pediatric trauma center, and has a 16 bed PICU and a 70bed NICU with 24 hour in house Neonatology coverage.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group (LPG) Pediatric Surgery is seeking a full time physician board eligible/board certified in pediatric surgery to join their busy 3 physicians and 3 advanced provider practice. The practice has outpatient clinics in Fort Myers with two satellite clinics in Naples and Port Charlotte. This position will only operate and take ER call at Golisano Childrens Hospital. Weekend call coverage will be 1:4. Candidates for this position will have completed a general surgery residency, be fellowship trained in pediatric general surgery and have interest in performing bread-and-butter pediatric surgery, complex neonatal cases and minimally invasive procedures.
