Seeking a full-time urgent care physician to serve at Mercy Clinic Ambulatory Care Center due to recent retirements of long-term providers. We offer flexible 12-hour shifts, no holidays, excellent teamwork and collaboration, and a supportive administration. Ability to see all ages is required and urgent care or emergency experience is preferred. A board-certified pediatrician will also be considered.

Mercy Clinic Ambulatory Care Center

• Full-time urgent care
• 12-hour shifts, 12-shifts per month (9A-9P)
• Ability to see sick and complex patients - 5-10% are admitted to the hospital
• Up to four providers in coverage each day
• Flexible scheduling for family activities - wonderful partnership and collaboration
• Average 22 patients per day
• Diverse patient mix - all ages, large variety, procedures
• Comprehensive imaging including X-Ray, Ultrasound, MRI, CT on-site
• Full lab on-site
• You will appreciate patients that respect you
• Experienced, stable nurse practitioners and nurse staff - low turnover
• Access to comprehensive list of specialists at Mercy Springfield - over 700 employed providers in the area across most surgical, medical, and pediatric specialties
• System-wide Epic EMR
