Providence Sacred Heart Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Pediatric Hematology/Oncology physician. This is primarily a clinical position, providing care for both hematology and oncology patients. Active member of the Children's Oncology Group, seeing 70 new child and young adult oncology patients per year. Includes a hemophilia treatment center with a busy benign hematology practice fueled by its 165 bed children's hospital. An interest/expertise in hemostasis and thrombosis would be particularly welcomed, with a record of clinical excellence. Work as part of a large, cohesive multidisciplinary team. We focus on the whole family, understanding that when a child is diagnosed with cancer, everyone in their life is affected. The pediatric department has a wide array of pediatric subspecialists and general pediatricians who serve the premier children's hospital of the Inland NW. This affiliation offers physicians the ability to teach with several medical schools and residencies. The Inland NW is an outdoor paradise providing year-round outdoor recreation and Spokane, WA is a vibrant city with unique restaurants, shops, parks and artistic venues.
