The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Children's Health is seeking a Child Psychologist for a clinical track faculty position working with children and adolescents with a broad set of DSM-5 diagnoses. Join our robust and dynamic team in downtown Indianapolis, working at top ranked Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Children's Health!

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with DSM-5 diagnoses/related symptoms and participation in Department of Psychiatry service and teaching missions
  • Clinical Services: A mix of outpatient and inpatient work depending on system need
    • Outpatient services consist of outpatient evaluations and outpatient psychotherapies at child psychiatry clinics and/or integrated primary clinics within the system
    • Hospital-based services consist of psychological evaluations and interventions on the inpatient psychiatry unit and/or as a part of a pediatric consultation-liaison service
    • Patient volume: About 28-30 clinical hours/week, divided between outpatient and hospital based services depending on system need
  • Academic Roles/Responsibilities:
    • Participation on department/school service teams/committees
    • Clinical supervision of trainees
    • Didactic teaching of trainees
    • Possibility of involvement in research

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical Psychology
  • Eligibility for licensure and independent practice as a Health Service Provider in Psychology in the State of Indiana
