Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Physicians has an opportunity for a Cardiovascular Surgeon to join their collegial multi-specialty group in Muncie, Indiana! Ball Memorial Hospital is the 2nd largest hospital in the IU Health System. Quality and Collaboration are very desirable skills to compliment the existing providers! 

Employment Opportunity Details:

• No local competition 
• Strong PA support team
• Very limited after hours demand, weekend rounding with PA team supports call physician
• 20-25 outpatients per week & 10 inpatients per week. Numbers expected to increase with growing TAVR program
• Procedures: CABG, Valves, TAVR, Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Wedge Resections
• Teaching & Research opportunities with 3 residencies onsite and a full research department
• Sign on Bonus, Salary (not guarantee model), stipend available for those finishing training

Qualifications:

• Must have M.D., D.O., or equivalent education
• Completed a cardiovascular surgery fellowship
• American BC/BE in Surgery
• Collaborate and successfully interact with a multi-disciplinary team to promote high-quality patient outcomes.
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and verbal communication skills.
