Indiana University Health Arnett OB/GYN is seeking to add a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to their growing midwife practice located in Lafayette, Indiana. Join a collegial team of 8 OB/ 2 GYN physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, and 5 nurse midwives.

Employment opportunity details:

• Full-time position
• Balance of in-patient and out-patient
• The CNM practice is over a decade strong at IUH Arnett
• Call schedule: approx. 2 days during week and every 3rd weekend, on call for labor support and deliveries
• Patient volume: approx. 20 patients per full day in office
• Patient volume in hospital: 5 midwives together average 200 deliveries per year
• Responsibilities: Women's health services with focus on women of childbearing age, OB/GYN care to include full obstetric care, well woman exams/paps and family planning
• Midwives also offer Group Visits for pregnant women in a support group setting
• Strong patient base, only midwifery practice in Lafayette area that works with a physician group
• Ideal candidate will be flexible, a strong communicator, team player, be a supportive of a culture of high touch/low tech, labor supported patients, supportive of patient driven choices and supportive of an EMR, including: Cerner, Epic and ChildWatch

Requirements:

• Active Certification as a Certified Nurse-Midwife
• License in IN
• 2 year experience working in the Midwife role.
