IU Health Physicians Community Medicine is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our growing teams in multiple practice locations within the greater Indianapolis area!

Position Highlights:

• Join an established team of Anesthesiologists and participate in the growth and expansion of the anesthetist profession within our community medicine division
• Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Days, hours can vary from: 7 am-4 pm
• No weekend work or call required
• Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities working with mostly adult patients including: ortho, general surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology and occasional pediatric cases
• Primary locations include IU Health North, West, Saxony and Tipton Hospitals with additional practice locations including: Beltway, Spring Mill, Saxony, Senate Street, Eagle Highlands, East Washington Surgery Centers; Indiana Endoscopy Centers, Glen Lehman Endoscopy Suite and Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center

Qualifications:

• Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Provider licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana

Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:

• Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
• Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold a current certification

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:

• Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)
• Must have passed the National Certification Examination (NCE) and hold a current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
