Southcentral Foundation is an Alaska Native owned, nonprofit health care organization serving nearly 65,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people living in Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. Additionally, SCF provides health care services to the 14,000 residents of 55 rural villages in the Anchorage Service Unit, an area stretching 107,400 square miles across Southcentral Alaska.
Our patented Nuka System of Care is a relationship-based, customer-owned approach to transform health care. We strive for Primary Care teams to support whole families, even multiple generations of the same family, when providing medical care for preventive, acute, and complex healthcare needs. Utilizing this model of care has allowed SCF to focus on the growth and development of a robust pediatric care system. Currently our company has nursing positions available for integrated case management, developmental/behavioral health, and specialty pediatric services.
Pediatric case managers work in partnership with a pediatrician, their integrated care team, and other ancillary services to provide comprehensive medical support. Daily duties typically include nursing assessments, phone triage, referral management, complex care coordination, facilitation of travel, and management of medical forms or other paperwork.
Pediatric nurses working with our specialty care service will support families across the state of Alaska who require additional specialty and subspecialty Services. In addition to the skills listed above, specialty nurses may also coordinate non-urgent consultations, provide clinical support of rural primary care providers, and procure specific diagnostic items pertinent for the subspecialty evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current registered nurse license in the State of Alaska.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
One (1) year nursing experience is preferred.
