Description

Emory Department of Pediatrics and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta are seeking board certified pediatricians for faculty positions to care for hospitalized children at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.

Responsibilities will include inpatient care and teaching medical students and residents. Administrative and research opportunities may also be pursued. Our Hospitalist Program forms a partnership between community physicians and our hospitalist pediatricians to guarantee that children, especially those with particularly difficult diagnoses, get the care they deserve.At Children's, more than 500 Emory faculty members cover 30 specialties. Our staff is involved with pediatric clinical care, teaching, research and child advocacy efforts, treating patients at a variety of clinics and hospitals throughout metro Atlanta.One of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country, Atlanta offers medical professionals a full spectrum of career and cultural opportunities. The city is home to more than a dozen Fortune 500 companies and more than 15 Fortune 1000 companies. The state's bioscience and health IT industries are responsible for 120,000 jobs and $30 billion in annual revenue, making Atlanta a perfect place to build a promising career in healthcare.Within the city limits, one can also find top-ranked museums, major league sports teams and a vibrant restaurant scene.
