Our Cardiovascular Unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Cardiovascular Unit leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. 

 

Cardiovascular Unit

Patient Population: Cardiac, Stroke, Spesis

Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:3 based on acuity

Number of Beds: 16 beds

Department Specifics: 85% BSN, 48% PCCN, Cross-trained to ICU, Great Physician/Nursing collaboration, Daily huddles to focus on unit metrics and ideas for process improvement.

It was also recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the only Tarrant County hospital, and one of only two hospitals in the Dallas Fort Worth region, rated High Performing, the highest-possible rating for Best Hospitals for Maternity for 2021-2022. Registered Nurse Requirements

 

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • License/Certification
    • RN – Registered Nurse
