The Indiana University Health accredited ACHD Program is growing to meet the needs of adult and pediatric patient volume.  As one of the nation’s most respected programs for diagnosis and treatment of heart disease and the only program of its kind in Indiana, we are actively seeking two physicians to join our team of highly skilled providers: one for adult patient care, and another for combination of adult and pediatric patients at the Riley Heart Center.

Highlights

• Top 15 high-volume heart programs in the nation for effective outcomes by U.S. News & World Report.
• Riley Children’s Health Pediatric Cardiology program is ranked sixth in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
• Perform advanced heart failure procedures such as hemodynamic catheterization, endomyocardial biopsies, CardioMems device placement etc.
• Partake in the care of patients with cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support (including ECMO), cardiac transplantation, pulmonary hypertension and cardio-oncology
• Clinician-Educator Faculty appointment and benefits through Indiana University School of Medicine.
• Clinical and basic research opportunities for collaboration with the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research, and Krannert Institute of Cardiology
• Opportunity to grow multidisciplinary clinical programs, research, and programmatic funding

Qualifications

• Adult Congenital Heart Disease fellow or experienced clinician with expertise in Adult Congenital Heart Disease
• Fellowship trained in either Internal Medicine Cardiology or Pediatric Cardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine and/or Pediatrics, either Internal Medicine Cardiology or Pediatric Cardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease
• Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible

The newest addition to Riley Hospital, the Maternity Tower, opened in fall 2021. The Tower is home to Indiana's largest NICU, as well as the state's only OB ICU and emergency room.

Riley Hospital is also one of the largest children's hospitals in the United States, and offers one of the nation's largest outpatient care facilities for children.
