IU Health Arnett Physicians has a full time employment opportunity for a Glaucoma or Corneal trained Ophthalmologist. The team is seeking an Ophthalmologist who enjoys comprehensive responsibilities to join their strong collegial clinic located in Lafayette, Indiana. The position provides opportunity for leadership responsibilities as well.  

Opportunity details:

Come join a large, multi-specialty organization. Low call responsibility, large patient pool and be able to work with experienced ophthalmologists! 

  • Full-Time Days
  • Call Schedule 1 week of every 4 
  • 100% outpatient
  • Ophthalmology experience required
  • Interested in continuously learning and helping others do the same.
  • Enjoys working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Experience with Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives
  • Opportunity exists for either comprehensive Ophthalmologist or BC Glaucoma or Cornea Ophthalmologist 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat comprehensive eye diseases and injuries
  • Perform appropriate procedures and surgical interventions
  • Participate in Performance Improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC Ophthalmology
  • MD/DO Indiana license or eligible
  • Consistent and consecutive employment/training history
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to provide high quality patient care
  • Team oriented, positive and patient centered
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and open to change/improvement
