MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the MercyOne Emergency Department located in Mason City, Iowa.
MercyOne North Iowa - Emergency Medicine
- Full-time opportunity: Three (3) 12-hr shifts/week, 11am - 11pm
- Level III Trauma Center
- ~30,000 visits/year
- Full-service hospital with a 24/7 Hospitalist program, air medical and ambulance services, CT/MRI in the department, bed-side ultrasound, and point-of-use supplies in every room
- Join a team of well experienced physicians and APPs
- 42 hours of physician coverage/day
- Tertiary center with 300+ physicians & specialist support to keep patients in house- Trauma surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, GI, ENT, Pediatric Hospitalists, OBGYN, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Ortho Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, etc.
- Only transfers out < 1% of patients.

Minimum qualifications include current Iowa APP license, current Iowa controlled substance license, and current Federal DEA license.
