Schedule: PRN (As Needed)
Shift: 6am to 3pm (Rotational schedule including weekends)
The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Deland: 701 Plymouth Ave. Deland, FL 32720
The role you’ll contribute: This position requires the Cardiovascular Sonographer to be proficient in performing cardiac diagnostic tests for the determination, treatment, and prognosis of cardiac disorders.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Performs special procedure in Cardiology Department.
- Performs Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Trans esophageal Echocardiograms, Doppler Analysis and Color Flow Analysis.
- Administers cardiac diagnostic procedures for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Maintains ultrasound equipment, and work area.
- Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and uses independent judgment to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
- Performs Quality Assessment and participates in Performance Improvement.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Active registry with ARDMS or CCI in either Echo or Vascular required.
