Nemours is seeking a Diagnostic Advanced Practice Provider to join our Delaware Team!

The Diagnostic Referral Service Advanced Practice Provider (DRS APP) provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in the Integrated Pain and Wellness Program. Responsibilities include new inpatient and outpatient consults for programmatic growth, as well as outpatient follow up visits for established patients.

The DRS APP will also complete inpatient NICU consults and provide subsequent outpatient follow up visits for medical home tube feeds following hospital discharge. Additional responsibilities include outpatient consults, follow up visits, and complex care coordination for medically complex patients as patient volume requires.

Requirements:

• APRN: Current unrestricted Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License to practice in the state(s) in which privileges are sought; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification via National Certification Center; BLS and PALS Certification upon hire.
• DE RN (or compact state), DE APRN, DE CSR, DE DEA
• PA-C: Current unrestricted Physician Assistant License to practice in the state(s) in which privileges are sought; National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, BLS and PALS certification upon hire.
• DE license, DE CSR, DE DEA
• Additional state licensure may be required

Interested candidates must be capable of self-directed independent and collaborative practice. Strong communication and inter-professional skills are required as the DRS APP is a critical liaison between medical teams, nursing teams and families.
