Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist

This is an outstanding opportunity with lucrative compensation and a schedule not to be matched. Work 2-3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage being optional with additional compensation.

We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join our dynamic medical staff at River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, CA. Quick Facts

• Employment Type: Independent Contractor/1099. With malpractice covered by facility.
• Sign on bonus, retention bonus, relocation can be negotiated.
• Schedule / Hours: Flexible schedule with optional shared call
• Patient Volume: daily case load of a minimum of 15 inpatient adult patients
• Location: Madera, CA
• Practice Setting: Behavioral Health Facility, Inpatient

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient services to adults with a focus on regular rounding, admissions, discharges and treatment team participation
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff

Qualifications

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license
• Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

• River Vista is a newer, state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its doors in 2023. We offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including specialized units catering to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues.
